The Ouse is very high at the moment, and there is a flood warning in place. Any rain falling on saturated ground may increase the risk of further flooding. Journeys to Sharnbrook may need take account of changing situation.

Parking:
Car parking may be tight as parking is shared with a church and sports centre. Both will have allocated areas and runners have what's left.

Course:
- The start and finish in the school field.
- The length is a little under 5 miles.
- The race starts on the playing field and does a lap of it.
Leave the field out a gate and head down a farm track which then turns right across a muddy field.
Right again along 2 field edges to Yelnow Lane.
Left up this green lane to a small wood, 2 loops in the wood, cross Yelnow Lane, a further loop here then back to the playing field and a sprint to the finish.

2/3rds of the course is on grass field edges or in woods.
The rest is a mixture of muddy field or Yelnow Lane.
With all the rain the muddy field is very muddy and claggy.
Yelnow Lane is rutted which are full of water and very slippery.
There is likely to be 2 way running on Yelnow Lane so runners will need be aware and careful.
Spikes will be necessary.

Facilities:
There is a sports hall with changing but no showers.
There are very few toilets in the building therefore we have lots of portaloos.
Food and hot drinks will be provided after the race

The course follows woodland/public footpaths.
A course map will be displayed on the day.
The course is entirely off road.
Spikes or studs recommended (preferably spikes)
No headphones of any description will be permitted as they may inhibit runners to hear marshals instructions.
